Job Summary:
Pinnacle Trailer Sales Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the Pinnacle Team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for all accounts receivable activities including the preparation, review, and maintenance of all records. They will also be responsible for ongoing maintenance and monthly reconciliation for assigned balance sheet accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintains daily reconciliations of Pinnacle Trailer Sales bank/cash accounts and posts required entries for proper reconciling.
2. Receives and posts/applies daily cash receipts and books related general ledger entries. Including cash, checks, credit cards for payment of parts & service invoices and trailer purchases.
3. Maintains all accounts receivable records for accuracy of balance due.
4. Maintains existing and establishes any new Pinnacle customer accounts receivable online payment portals.
5. Prepares bi-weekly report of accounts receivable aging and presents to parts and service sales group for comments and resolution.
6. Responsible for monthly reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts. Including but not limited to all cash accounts, accounts receivable accounts, and fixed asset accounts.
7. Assist in answering incoming calls if short staffed or coverage is needed.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
1-3 years’ experience in Accounting.
