SUMMARY:

This position will provide accounting support for all Centralized properties operated by Remington.

Responsibilities include posting the daily revenue and labor journals, balance hotel statistics, reconcile ledgers, research, and re-class any miscellaneous entries. Ideal candidate will be proactive and highly organized.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Post daily income journals for assigned hotels through ProftSword
• Reconcile and review all daily revenue transactions and ensure that postings are correctly applied to the right revenue and adjustment codes.
• Ensure the stats balance for each property
• Research and re-class any miscellaneous and other operating expense postings
• Reconcile/ balance Guest, City and Advance Deposit ledgers before EOM and assist properties with making necessary corrections
• Monitor the over/short cash tracker in ProfitSword
• Provide training for team and property GM's
• Perform any reasonable request as assigned or directed by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Three (3) or more years of experience as an Accountant in a multi-unit operation or hotel property operations experience as a Front Desk Clerk or Night Auditor or similar
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in ProfitSword, M3, PMS interface system, or equivalent
• Proficiency in hotel Property Management Systems (Hilton, Marriott, IHG, etc.)
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• 10-Key proficiency required
• Ability to be detail oriented and highly organized
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
