The Scientific Instruments Team develops next generation solutions that transform molecules into insights in applications such as food safety, air and water quality, drug discovery and development as well as genetic sciences. In addition to this focused end market, our broad portfolio of analog and digital technologies solve problems in many other industries. Our team of analog and digital designers, layout engineers, and design verification engineers create highly integrated solutions that enable innovations in a wide variety of applications.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Transistor-level circuit design and simulation.
- Architect, implement and analyze trade-offs of analog and mixed signal blocks
- Understanding of device-level operation and physics
- Working together with a broad team of engineers distributed across the globe.
- Conducting block-level technical feasibility, determining block specifications for new product development.
- Leveraging existing designs to meet new specifications.
- Oversee and support analog and digital layout.
- Supporting other job functions such as board design, lab evaluation and test to ensure successful delivery meeting all requirements.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuit design, tools, and flows.
- Design experience in amplifiers, OPAMP circuits, DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, bias circuits, LDOs, auto-zero and chopping precision circuits is a plus.
- Experience in stability in feedback systems and compensation techniques.
- Experience in the design of precision zero-drift circuits including chopping and auto-zero is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
- MS / PhD degree in EE or ECE with focus on mixed signal design or equivalent industry experience.

- Self-motivated, thorough, autonomous, and driven to continually improve.
