We are looking to recruit Staff Grade Physiotherapist to work with our Intellectual Disability healthcare client in Dublin South, Kildare and West Wicklow.

You must have :

· Hold a Physiotherapy qualification recognised by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU

· Relevant ICT skills

· Excellent Interpersonal, communication skills and strong command of English

· Provide proof of statutory Registration on the Physiotherapist maintained by the Physiotherapist Registration Board at CORU or eligible for registration

· Maintain annual registration on the appropriate register at CORU.

Job Description:

· Responsible for the carrying out physiotherapy assessments, planning and implementing person centred physiotherapy programmes

· Provide education, training and support to carers parents and staff

· Manage a caseload based on clinical needs of the child and as agreed with the family through an IFSP(I NDIVIDUAL Family Service Plan).

· Apply clinical reasoning to develop a treatment or intervention plan based on the goals identified that is outcome based and relevant.

Education & Training:

· Participate in departmental in-service training

· Engage in the education of colleagues, service users and other health care professionals.

· Take responsibility for keeping up to date with current physiotherapy practice and participating with CPD relevant to clinical role.

· Provide education and training to parents, carers and school staff supporting the child to participate in their environment fully.

· Attend mandatory training.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €37,522.00-€54,569.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
