We are looking to recruit Staff Grade Psychologist to work with our Intellectual Disability healthcare client in Dublin South, Kildare and West Wicklow.

Applicant must possess the following:

· Have an Irish Post Graduate qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in clinical, counselling, or educational psychology or an equivalent qualification validated by the Department of Health.

· A post-graduate professional qualification in psychology, recognized by the Psychological Society of Ireland.

· Hold a minimum QQI Level 8 Qualification in Psychology

· Strong command of the English language/ Excellent communication and inter personal skills.

Job Description

• Work as a member of an Interdisciplinary Team
• Be responsible for the delivery of professional psychology services appropriate to the post in line with best practice.
• Work within limits of professional competence in line with principles of best practice, professional conduct and clinical governance.
• To undertake assessment, therapy, appropriate interventions and preventative programmes in accordance with the professional competence of clinical psychologists.
• Utilise evidence-based literature and research to support effective practice.
• To undertake research in clinical psychology and to co-operate in research and evaluation programmes as appropriate.

Salary: €53,021.00-€90,771.00 per year
