Post Specific Related Information:
The Staff Officer will occupy a pivotal role within the HR Department. The post holder is responsible for the delivery and implementation of a range of generalist HR services within Cavan General Hospital and Monaghan Hospital and the provision of advice and guidance to managers on matters relating to HR. The HR Team provides the following Services to colleagues on both hospital sites: Recruitment Workforce Planning & Data Analytics Employee Relations Employee Services There is currently 1 whole-time permanent post available in Cavan Monaghan Hospital. A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign for Staff Officer – HR Department from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled. Post Specific Requirements: Demonstrate experience of working in a Human Resources environment including recruitment and selection and the management of interview processes. Demonstrate working knowledge of employment legislation. Demonstrate experience of supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems. Demonstrate experience of working across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrate experience of delivering multiple concurrent pieces of work. Desirable Qualification & Experience: CIPD Qualification preferable
