WHO WE ARE: Royal Palm Beach Helath and Rehabilitation Center - a 120 bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Royal Palm Beach, FL is currently seeking a Staffing Coordinator. We are a growing facility in need of an energetic and talented new professional to join our team.
Responsibilities of the Staffing Coordinator:
- Complete monthly nursing schedule coordinating request to ensure appropriate coverage of units
- Complete and post work sheets and time schedules. Coordinate variances with the DON
- Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars
- Report to Director of Nursing Services (DON) all employees with excess tardiness or absenteeism, in accordance with Facility policy
- Complete in timely fashion necessary nursing department employee records upon hiring, job reclassification, and discharge as needed
- Consult with nursing department staff and supervisors concerning the staffing and scheduling needs: to assist in elimination and correction of problem areas, and/or improvement of services
- Assist employees in accurate completion of forms (e.g., Leave and day off requests, timecards, etc.)
- Maintain a current listing of all resident care employee phone numbers
Requirements of the Staffing Coordinator:
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate Degree preferred but not required.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Customer service oriented.
- CNA License preferred
