STORES PERSON – SPAR EASTGATE
SPAR Eastgate, Little Island an award-winning convenience retailer in Cork, requires a stores person and driver to work as part of their award-winning team.
The ideal candidate along with supporting the shopfloor and fresh food departments, will also support the delivery driver with daily deliveries and must have a full clean drivers licence.
REPORTING TO THE STORE MANAGER, THE MAIN DUTIES;
- Responsible for organising the stockroom
- Responsible for packing deliveries in stockroom and shopfloor
- Processing and preparing customer orders
- Delivery of customer orders within the local area
- Ensuring HACCP delivery procedures are adhered to
- Responsible for maintenance of delivery vehicle
- Respond to orders, questions, concerns and complaints in a polite and efficient manner from customers
To undertake sales floor duties as may be assigned by the store manager typical of the Company’s core business - Retailing.
Requirements
- High level of attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptable to change and willing to embrace new ideas and processes
- Must have a FULL CLEAN driving licence
- Previous experience desirable but not essential
- Flexibility in working hours as role involves afternoons/evenings and weekends
- Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
