Job Description

The purpose of the Strategic Analysts role is to provide support to the different departments of the Company in a financial capacity. Due to Camden partnering with investment firms in South Africa we are in need of a strategic analyst with a background in Finance, hedge fund management. portfolio management, investment management, proven track record of raising capital and able to speak both English and Afrikaans. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of South Africa and of their culture.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Finance or Portfolio Management
• Must be bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Have experience in hedge fund management preferred
• At least 2 years experience in a related field
• Proven ability to raise capital
• Fundamental knowledge of South African culture
• Macro economic experience
• 1 year experience in property management
• Knowledge in financial management

Job Responsibilities

• Produce and provide written analysis on financial reports and projections

• Produce integrated reports across multiple departments by utilizing existing information systems

• Communicate with partnered financial instructions to facilitate relevant compliance statements

• Collaborate with various departments to brainstorm on improving the efficiency of various business processes

• Provide qualitative analysis and solutions for departmental deficiencies company-wide

• High-level understanding of Excel and Microsoft Office tools required
