JOB SUMMARY:
This role supports the planning and execution of Kay marketing activations and strategic partnerships. The Strategic Marketing Analyst ideates and then puts into action innovative, social-first marketing activations that communicate our brand, elevate our purpose and connect KAY to cultural events and milestones that are timely, meaningful and relevant to our customers. The Strategic Marketing Analyst must be a highly organized, proactive multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ideate innovative activation concepts and partnership opportunities for all key holidays and in support of marketing campaigns or priorities
- Project manage all KAY marketing activations and strategic partnerships from concept to execution
- Oversee all details of activations, including identifying potential partners, managing contracts and vendor paperwork, developing schedules and assignments, managing project plans and coordinating cross-functional teams to build a holistic marketing campaign
- Manage activation budget for successful implementation of marketing campaigns and partnerships
- Manage tactical tracker to track progress of all tasks for each program
- Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to cross-functional teams, keeping team members on task and driving towards on-time completion
- Coordinate with PR agency and team to optimize earned media
- Assist in management of key internal and external agencies, when needed, developing and maintaining key dates/milestones, ensuring timely reviews/approvals, delivering consolidated team feedback and driving agencies to on-time completion of deliverables
- Track performance and generate all recap decks
- Present plans and performance recaps as needed to internal teams
- Monitor and analyze trends, innovations and other executions in the marketplace to inform creative strategy and identify new opportunities
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications or related field
Years of Job-Related Experience Required: 2+ yrs experience in a marketing role with similar focus
Technical/Other Skills Required:
- Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Tableau
- Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, social media marketing, and PR
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities
- Exceptional collaborator, cross-functionally and within own team

The salary range for this opportunity is $50,000.00 – 67,000.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
