We are currently searching for an experienced Structures CAD Designer/Drafter to support our East Gulf Region located in Mobile, AL.
What you’ll be doing:
- Plan development production related to use of MicroStation, OpenBridge Designer/Modeler and/or AutoCAD platforms
- Implementation of CADD standards and familiarity of workspaces related to DOT and municipal clients and preparation of plans in accordance with these standards
- Apply engineering fundamentals, recommend design procedures, and prepare preliminary conceptual and detailed designs for engineers' approval
- Produce high-quality project deliverables on schedule within budgeted hours
What you need to have:
- 1 to 5 years CAD experience with specialization in preparing designs in the civil engineering field
- Knowledge of MicroStation, AutoCAD, and other CADD add-on software packages is required
- Characteristics of a successful Volkert team member:
