Student Career & College Navigator

Basic Description

The Student Career & College Navigator works with the President & CEO and staff in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.

Skills Required

• Bachelor degree required
• Be proficient in computer skills including but not limited to: Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Be able to input data, problem solve and analyze data
• Have good time management skills, writing skills and organizational skills
• Be able to multi-task
• Have good oral and written customer service skills; including speaking, emails and answering the phone
• Be able to work independently and collaborate with the team
• Be able to work occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends
• Be a self-motivator who is able and willing to take direction
• Be able to work, correspond and meet with Students, Educators and Business Leaders
• Be able to pass a background check
• Bilingual preferred, but not required
• Experience preferred, but not required

· Work with students on:

• College and career exploration
• College applications
• Career planning and application
• FAFSA completion
• Career opportunities in Southwest Florida
• Other duties as assigned
