Description: The student will assist our full-time researchers and will be trained. This is a good opportunity for learning research skills and health science for undergraduate students. The incumbents will have the privilege to be a co-author on our publications for the work that they contribute to. We study human health related neurosciences, regenerative medicine, biochemistry and biology. The working experience on this position should enhance the capability of the student in learning and career. Most of our student workers in the past went to medical school or graduate school right after graduated from college and completed the work in our lab. The research and working experience in our lab has been promoting their career advancement.

Qualifications:

• Freshman or Sophomore undergraduate students (must be full-time student during the Fall and Spring).
• Majoring in Biology, Chemistry, engineering, or similar field
• Availability to work several hours per week (no more than 20 hours) during school year
• Availability to work 40 hours per week during the winter and summer break.
• Availability to work for 3 or 4 years on this position
• We offer prevalent wage

Preferred Qualifications: Prefer students who live in greater New Orleans area so that they work during the winter and summer breaks.
