With mixed-age classrooms and carefully curated Montessori materials, we embrace the authentic Montessori Method, as we guide young learners toward the future, so they become innovative thinkers, good citizens, and able leaders.

As early education leaders, we’re influencing the next generation of learners, leaving a strong, lasting, positive impact on our children. From our more than 900 school locations to our regional offices and main headquarters, you’ll find a dynamic environment and culture that is open, friendly, welcoming, and collaborative.

As a Substitute Teacher, you will:

  • Follow all licensing guidelines, school and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
  • Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
  • Complete ongoing professional development on Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development topics.
  • Implement the Montessori curriculum (with assistance of the Director, a School Education Manager, Team Lead, or faculty mentor) and facilitate engaging interactive learning experiences.

We want joyful, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have:

  • Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
  • Experience in a licensed childcare center, Montessori school or related field, previous lead teacher experience preferred.
  • Completed a high school diploma or equivalent, bachelor’s degree and coursework in early childhood education preferred.
  • The ability to meet state requirements for education and additional school requirements
  • Able to work indoors and outdoors and engage in physical activity with children

Your neighborhood Montessori school is supported by Montessori Unlimited, a nationwide network of authentic Montessori schools. As part of Learning Care Group—a community of inspired, bold, dedicated individuals—we invite you to be a difference maker.
