The Houseperson offers support to our Room Attendants by removing stripping and staging linens in guestrooms as guests depart, ensuring housekeeping closets are fully stocked with linens and guest amenities, delivering requested items to guest rooms as requested, and assisting Room Attendants with their duties as needed. Responsible for emptying trash throughout the resort, hauling and sorting recycling bins, and receiving and distributing linen and supplies deliveries. Work with supervisors on various projects and assist other departments with fulfilling housekeeping needs. A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Remove from guestrooms dirty linens, recycling, and trash upon guest departure.
2. Keep hallways and floors clean and free of debris.
3. Distribute linens, recycling and trash to appropriate location using Ranger.
4. Help maintain inventory of housekeeping items and inform supervisor of needed supplies.
5. Assist Room Attendants, Public Area Attendants, and other house persons to ensure that all lodging rooms and public areas will be available for guests to check in at 4:00 p.m.
6. Assist in any bellman duties lodging may need.
7. Flexible working hours. Some job sharing may be required.
8. Ensure all Housekeeping closets are fully stocked, clean and organized.
9. Assists Public Area Attendants with stocking and removing Pool and Hand Towles from the Pool/Fitness Areas.
10. Receiving and distributing linen and supply orders twice a week.
11. Maintain working order of vacuums.
12. Follow Ranger Safe Driving protocol when operating vehicles.
RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY
1. Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and resort guests.
2. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.
3. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.
4. Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in guest service and hospitality desired, cleaning experience is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before internal and external guests.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate measurements, amounts such as amount of cleaning solution to use, proportions, percentages, and volume.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a current, valid driver's license.
