Are you passionate about Tech Education, Video Games, Coding, Python, Roblox™, App Design, Digital Movies, Robotics, Drones, Minecraft™ or STEM?

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to work as Lead Instructors in our Summer programs.

• Summer seasonal position (5-6 weeks), Must be available all of July and the first week in August

• In-room with kids ages 8-14

• PAID training!

• No formal experience required

• Spend the summer with our AMAZING students having fun with technology!

General Requirements:

• Located within commuting distance of one of our partner regions and reliable transportation

• Able to commit to a full weeks of work, M-TH, approximately 12:00 - 5:00.

• Experience with children in an educational setting preferred but not required

• Strong technology skills are preferred, such as 3D modeling, coding, game creation or design, animation, robotics, modifying games, video editing, competitive gaming, significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox, etc.

• Available to start online training immediately (Train at your own pace.)

• Must be authorized to work in the United States. We are unable to offer accommodations or work sponsorship.

• Must be available to work a minimum of 6 weeks, all of July and the first week of August

Locations:

• Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens

Experience and Skills:

Assistant Instructor Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older

• College students pursuing a degree in education, digital arts, computer science, information technology or related fields and/or significant relevant work experience are ideal.

• Experience teaching kids is not required, but the ideal candidate will have some experience with kids in a formal or informal setting (classroom, volunteering, childcare, tutoring, coaching, etc.)

• Assistant Rate: $16/hr - $20/hr depending on experience, location, and availability

• Potential opportunities to move into teacher roles in future seasons

• Ability to manage and safely transfer equipment as needed for various classes
