Job description
Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of delivery equipment including pallet jacks, lift gates, two wheeler,rollers
- Unload up to 1500 cases and up to 100 barrels daily
- Deliver product up and downstairs with a two wheeler
- Rotate all product upon delivery at accounts
- Accurately count inventory on truck checking to ensure accuracy of delivery
- Follow any specific delivery instructions outlined by the account
- Able to operate a handheld delivery device
- Communicate with customers in a professional courteous manner
- Comply with company procedures, rules, and regulations
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards
- Adhere to company uniform policy including PPE
Required Skills:
- Must be able to use a jack, two wheeler, lift gate, roller
- Must be able to use a handheld delivery device
- Must be able to do basic arithmetic when counting truck inventory for delivery
- Must be able to lift up to 170lbs (cases and kegs)
- Must be able to deliver product up and down stairs
- Must organize truck & understand truck map
- Must have general knowledge of Greater Boston
- Must be able to read and comprehend the English language
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be flexible with schedule
- Must be able to bend /twist repeatedly
- Must be able to make pallets with product
- Must be able to wrap pallets
- Ability to solve problems effectively
- Well-mannered with good communication skills
Experience:
- Previous Delivery Experience
- High school diploma required
