At The Goddard School, you join a group of other educators who are passionate about working with children. As the Summer Program Lead Teacher, you will implement our Goddard Summer Camp curriculum for our school-age program, ages 5-7.

Lead Teacher Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
- Advance children’s physical and intellectual competence through creative lesson planning.
- Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and families.
- Maintain a professional commitment.
Qualifications:
- Experience in an early childhood education center: minimum 1 year (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Child Development or bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
- Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Child Development
- A current CDA or Early Childhood Teaching Credential
- Strong computer and technology skills. Previous experience with digital lesson planning tools and software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
