Job Summary
Superintendents are responsible for monitoring the overall construction work for all assigned projects. This includes updating project schedules, managing labor costs, and coordinating Subcontractor and Self Perform work.
We are currently seeking a Superintendent with experience in building Water and Waste Water Treatment Plants. Heavy concrete forming experience of tanks and structures a plus. The candidate must be able to lead a project size of $5M to $15M with 10-20 employees as well as multiple subcontractors.
Pay and benefits are dependent upon experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the project manager to ensure project is built on budget, on schedule, safely and quality work is performed.
- Coordinates subcontractors to ensure project schedule and quality.
- Understands project information and is able to identify obstacles and present solutions.
- Completes time sheets, daily reports, equipment reports, toolbox talks and 3 week plans.
- Works with Owners and Engineers.
- Review submittals, plans and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- 5+ years of superintendent experience for water/wastewater projects.
- Self-perform experience of concrete is a plus.
- Knows how to lead people and drive results for the overall project success.
