Job Description

  • Design strategies for leveraging paid media on social platforms including but not limited to Meta & Pinterest to deliver against brand objectives

  • Supervise, direct and review the development and implementation of specified social media plans in conjunction with the Strategy team

  • Develop action plans for achieving and measuring social media success, including setting key metrics, measurement and optimization strategies

  • Advocate the value of social media and help educate clients, partners and internal teams on the latest developments and paid social capabilities

  • Apply social media knowledge and creativity to brainstorming and strategy sessions

  • Lead regular check-ins on campaign performance and track against KPIs

  • Provide direction as needed for improving campaign performance through optimization and/or implementing new features and strategies

  • Create and manage deliverables to both clients and internal teams showcasing campaign strategy and performance results or reporting

  • Oversee, author and/or constructively edit and review the writing of social media documents (timelines, POVs, RFPs, media plans, ad hoc requests)

  • Build and maintain relationships with social media publishers and internal agency counterparts

  • Understand and adopt new social media trends and/or processes for clients and for UNIT3C

  • Maintain knowledge of current social media landscape and provide training/mentorship to junior team members

  • Leads reporting and pacing oversight to identify optimization opportunities, measurement insights, and any campaign troubleshooting

  • Oversees, optimizes, and maintains account processes, quality assurance of all activations or deliverables and that paid social best practices are followed

  • Manage social campaign budgets, including media authorizations and management of billing reconciliation process

  • Determine appropriate audience selection, campaign investment by channel and measurement KPIs for client approval

  • Aid in the management and development of a successful team through training, coaching, and mentoring; assist with and conduct annual performance appraisals and provide regular feedback to 2-3 direct reports

  • Staying apprised of new and emerging technology, creative and other innovative tactics to aid in recommendations for paid social activations and/or measurement


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years working with Facebook & Pinterest ads platforms with hands-on experience managing and optimizing paid social buys including pulling reporting and conducting analysis/insights for client-facing deliverables

  • 2+ years of experience working on the media planning process from RFP to activation including but not limited to: translating RFP into an actionable strategy, developing and identifying audiences, providing estimates, aligning on individual brand KPIs and objectives

  • Comprehensive knowledge of best practices to activate, optimize, and strategize for upper funnel paid social campaigns on Meta and Pinterest

  • Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency

  • Strong time-management and organizational skills

  • Required PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present internally and externally

  • Experience managing and mentoring at least 1-2 direct reports is strongly preferred

  • CPG vertical and prior agency experience is a plus

Compensation Range: $70,000- $110,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
