Summary:

We are currently seeking a Process Leader, Supply Chain (Primary Group). This position will be located at our Brackenridge Plant in Brackenridge, PA.

The process leader will direct and coordinate all movements within our Coilyard & Railroad.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop best practices for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as ATI's internal Rail Crew (T&Y), Natrona Buffer (HOLT), Norfolk Southern, Logistics, Production, and Scheduling.
  • Create schedules and manage material flow out of the coilyard to ATI Vandergrift, Natrona Buffer (HOLT), Customer Direct, and Truck Shipping.
  • Manage Coilyard capacity to ensure we do not overfill and halt production.
  • Main ATI contact coordinating inbound / outbound shipments with Norfolk Southern.
  • Use multiple platforms to properly Bill outbound material.
  • Provide Daily updates on Coilyard / Rail Car Status.
  • Meet or exceed on-time delivery performance requirements.
  • Lead and support supply chain growth initiatives through process improvement and software development.
  • Examine existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet production needs.

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or other appropriate program from an accredited institution

Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically when solving problems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Experience analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution
  • Analyzation skills with data to determine how to increase inventory turns and optimize customer service
  • Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
  • Expert level with Microsoft Excel
  • Willingness to do shift work and alternating hours with another employee
