Salary: €40k per annum

Duration: Full-time, permanent

Supply Chain Specialist

Global manufacturing company are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join their Dublin based team on a full-time, permanent basis.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in growing the company supply chain function. You will be a key contributor within both strategy and operations, through your ability to analyse data and present insights while ensuring alignment and consistency across all internal teams and external business partners.

The successful candidate will have a 3rd level degree in a relevant field of study (supply chain/ purchasing/ business etc), a minimum of 3 years’ experience within supply chain in a manufacturing company, strong analytical skills and a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Develop suppliers including new supplier identification and evaluation, existing supplier management, and working with suppliers to resolve sourcing issues.
• Support proposal efforts including supplier selection and negotiations of supplier agreements.
• Lead cross-functional teams finding new sources, supplier selections and negotiations.
• Work collaboratively with all functions to ensure conforming Source of Supply
• Analyse data and processes to determine risks and areas of opportunity
• Forecast in advance using historical data and market drivers to increase accuracy and achieve optimal results
• Ensure any supply issues or changes to demand are clearly communicated
• Manage and procure all inventory requirements stock level commitments, analyse demand

Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience within Supply Chain, Purchasing/ Procurement

· 3rd level degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management / Procurement / Business

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Analytically minded with attention to detail

· A driven, problem solver with team leadership experience
