The Supply Chain team in Irish Water manages the end to end strategic procurement process through Supply Chain Category Management, Supply Chain Capital Delivery, and Supply Chain Operations.

The Supply Chain Sustainability Procurement and Contract Support Manager will be responsible for managing the provision of a full suite of contract support services to Business Managers in Irish Water, and/ or Responsible Contract Managers (RCMs), to assist in the effective management and governance of their contract’s portfolio. They will also be responsible for ensuring the Supply Chain team has the capability to support the business in delivering the overall Irish Water’s Sustainability Strategy Framework.

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, the Supply Chain Sustainability Procurement and Contract Support Manager is responsible for ensuring that all Irish Water RCMs have access to the appropriate supports through training, tendering process improvements, framework management and ownership and development of an effective contract management system. They will also be responsible for developing a Supply Chain Sustainable Procurement Strategy aligned to the overall business framework and ISO20400.
