The Opportunity
The Supply Chain Systems Analyst will be required to monitor all systems (Internal and External) used by ESW Global Logistics team. The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for the Global Logistics Team to report any repeated incidents or unstable behaviours of all our systems. This role will require travel to our HUBs, located in the EU, Asia and North America.
Candidates will be part of a team, where roles and responsibilities will be distributed in a way to have a flavour of different activities, including the Project Management assistant role. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, motivated team player who has strong attention to detail. This role will require flexible working hours, and you may be required to work Bank holidays/weekends to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Help and support in handling some operational tasks where strong IT knowledge is required (MRN Tool, Reconciliation and Exception reporting)
- Ensuring internal systems are healthy and robust; report any bugs to Product Team/IT team through the ServiceNow ticketing system
- Manipulating, analyzing data and produce one off reports
- Report system failures immediately
- Contact 3rd party suppliers through agreed channels
- Contact the Internal IT Support team through ServiceNow and E-mail
- Involved in testing/implementations of new functionalities to current systems as required
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Lane leads to perform tests where required
- Involve in Client onboarding Meetings
- Support daily operations request that require IT expertise
- Transport management System
- Data flow and storage
Key Experience & Skills
- Degree in a relevant discipline (Data analyst/IT/Maths/"Supply Chain with strong math mindset")
- Understand current Operations systems: Internal Systems: CSP, Tracking Portal, COB Tools TMS (Transport Management System), Returns Portal, 3rd party Systems, Labelling, Monitoring Tools, Control Tower, Proactive Monitoring
- Strong analysis & reporting skills
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Able to use Excel skills in analyzing data and producing reports (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Formulas, Macros)
