About the role

In Kerry we put our customer at the heart of everything we do and our Quality team are a crucial part of that journey. As a Supply Quality Auditor you will work with our suppliers on a regular basis to provide reports on audits. As such, the ideal candidate will be proficient in another or multitude of languages and feel comfortable conversing in a professional capacity.

Reporting into the EMEA Supply Quality Manager you will cover a range of food and packaging companies based in Europe where you will have a portfolio of around 70-75 announced audits per year. This is a unique role where you will gain exposure to a wide range of factories and teams within EMEA, LATAM & APMEA.

In this role you will be travelling frequently all over the European region so the ideal candidate will be flexible with travel plans and be open to travelling 70% of the time. You will also be required to have full clean driving license.

Kerry support hybrid working and with this role you will be required to be based from our Naas office 3-4 times a month with the rest of your working week being based remotely.

What will I be doing?

  • Accountable for executing the specified Supply Quality Audits, CoS and business initiatives.
  • Responsible for directing the day-to-day execution of the nominated vendor audit.
  • Executive Supply and execution.
  • Monitor performance to KPIs, targets, Quality Improvement Programs and guidelines.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
  • Continually evaluate, benchmark and trend process controls, food safety and quality programs.
  • Support vendor complaints, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective actions for nominated supplier on behalf of Kerry in line with outline.
  • Workers at supplier to monitor quality and food safety in line with regional communication and protocols to ensure specialized quality parameters are met.
  • Assure compliance to product standards.
  • Oversee Product Scale up process at nominated supplier with RD&A and ensure Quality requirements are agreed at the time of commercialization.

Qualifications and skills

These include:

  • Applicable food processing technology training and statistical process experience.
  • A GFSI certification is preferred but not essential as you can be sent on training to obtain a certification
  • Fluent in English but all other languages welcome
  • Technical training in raw material (Ingredients and Packaging Quality Control) HACCP, food safety food processing technology risk assessment and specification reading
  • Ability to support continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
  • Problem solving and complaint resolution tools.
  • Develop ability to work with cross-functional teams at multi levels within the organization.
  • Team player.
