Job description

We are seeking a highly professional individual with medical knowledge who can multitask various duties for our surgical scheduling department. This position requires attention to detail, along with high level customer service. A minimum of 1 year of surgical scheduling experience is preferred. Medical Assistant certification is also a plus. Our goal is for patients to have a positive experience as they go through all steps leading to surgery. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and other medical computer software programs. This individual must communicate effectively, alleviate stressful situations and to know when to ask for help. A team player is a necessity in this environment along with organizational skills.

The hours for this position can vary from 8 am until 8 pm Monday through Thursday and 8 am until 4:30 pm on Friday, to make a 40 hour work week. Light traveling may be required. We do our best to offer flexibility and understanding with our team's work/life balance.

Salary is hourly and is based on your prior experience. This position offers paid time off, insurance benefits, disability insurance and a company 401K plan.
