CVP Surgery Center, is a state-of-the art ophthalmic facility specializing in single-specialty outpatient surgery and we are seeking to add a full-time Pre-Admission/Scheduling RN to our growing team!
Our fast paced and exciting environment values collaboration and encourages innovative ideas. We are looking for a RN who is looking to work with an effective team as well as someone who contributes towards making a difference for the patients who visit the facility. This job has limited direct patient care, as most duties are performed over the phone.
Monday through Friday: 0830-1700
No weekends, no call, and PAID Holidays
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for collaborative oversight of maintaining volume of surgical schedules
- Obtaining and reviewing all Preop H&P's for all surgical patients, ensuring proper testing is ordered and available before surgery
- Completing a Preop Phone interview and medical review for all surgical patients
- Completing Arrival Time and Pre-admission directions patient phone calls
- Collaborates with multiple other teams to ensure great patient outcomes and customer service
- Serves as clinical resource to outside clinic surgery schedulers
- Must have a strong skill set of the following: Multi-tasking, communication, collaboration, reliability, pro-active problem solver, and enjoys patient education
Position Requirements:
- Current Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college/University
- Minimum two (2) years current RN experience in ER/ICU/Med-surg/ASC
- BLS, certified or must obtain within 90 days of hire
