Surgical Technologist Hiring Event
Job description
We are currently Surgical Technologists to join our team of talented professionals. As a Surgical Technologist, you will work alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that surgeries are conducted safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgeries by sterilizing equipment and ensuring that all necessary supplies are available
- Assist in preparing patients for surgery by cleaning and disinfecting incision sites, positioning patients on the operating table, and covering them with sterile drapes
- Pass surgical instruments, supplies, and medications to the surgeon during procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs during surgeries and alert the surgical team of any changes
- Assist in closing incisions and applying dressings to surgical sites
- Clean and disinfect operating rooms after surgeries
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited surgical technologist program
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred
- Experience working as a Surgical Technologist preferred
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols
