Qualifications

Candidate must have 1 year of technical survey training, plus 2 years of experience or equivalent work experience of 3 years. Experience must include construction staking such as: grade staking, underground utilities, surface improvements, preliminary surveys, traverse & aerial control. Must be able to perform basic survey calculations using programmable calculators and field data collectors. Must be familiar with use and maintenance of conventional survey equipment including Total Stations and GPS systems.

Position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for 8 to 10 hours per day and swing an 8 lb. sledgehammer.

Candidate must be dependable and display the ability to work well with others as they will be on a survey team. Good driving record is a must.
