Key Responsibilities:
Participate in and contribute to senior level conversations to establish sustainability strategy, programs, and initiatives.
Develop and manage implementation of specific sustainability programs and measure goals across company.
Build internal network and manage sub committees and working groups in support of Sustainability initiatives.
Collaborate across HQ Sustainability team to establish specific sustainability program goals.
Establish, track, and report performance data and metrics relative to sustainability goals.
Provide leadership to influence positive change and innovation to advance best practices and opportunities.
Support Business Development sales pursuits and client engagement.
Coordinate and participate in cross-functional teams to drive strategic programs and support sustainability goals.
Support National Sustainability Committee in day-to-day activities and communication.
Communicate and provide direct engagement with project teams and company leadership to promote sustainability
programs.
Provide technical support to project teams to achieve owners’ sustainability goals.
Develop training programs to support sustainability initiatives and educate employees; collaborate with Knowledge &
Learning as appropriate.
Support, engage, and mentor sustainability network to enhance staff development.
Develop relationships with sustainability related subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, manufacturers, designers, and clients to
advance common goals.
Present and participate in external organizations, conferences, and events beneficial to continued learning, program expansion, and
business development.
Participate in annual sustainability reporting to parent company and other external forums.
Maintain accreditation in a green building rating system.
Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 5 years of construction and/or sustainability industry experience or equivalent
combination of education, training and/or experience
Construction Operations experience desired
Previous experience with Sustainability topics, practices, and processes
LEED Professional Accreditation administered by Green Building Certification Institute, desired or other relevant green
building rating system accreditation
Project management experience, desired
Independently manage competing demands
Possess solid problem solving and analytical thinking
Approachable and effectively interact with all employee levels, management, subcontractors, and clients
Management experience, able to engage others that are not direct reports
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and timely documentation
Professional verbal and presentation skills; written business communication skills
Active listening skills, responsive, and strong follow-up practices
Familiar with basic lean concepts, and continuous improvement methods and tools
Embrace change and quick learner to adopt processes, information, and technology enhancements
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft suite of applications, and navigate Internet and database applications
Travel required
