What does a Syrup Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola?
As a Syrup Technician, you will be responsible for preparing equipment and mixing ingredients to produce beverage syrups. Our Syrup Technicians are directed by the Quality Supervisor to ensure the flavors produced at Swire Coca-Cola, USA meet the standards we have maintained for over 50 years. A great opportunity for someone who enjoys math, computers, and food/beverage manufacturing. The right person for this position will be a team player, great attendance and flexible with their schedule to support the business needs.

Job Details: Night Shift

Responsibilities:

• Understand, monitor, and act according to FDA-FSMA regulatory requirements
• Adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) by following all required Quality, Environment, Safety, and Food Safety work instructions
• Understand and follow all departmental written procedures for mixing syrup, sanitizing equipment, calibrating sensors, and handling ingredients
• Accurately record and retain all records of mixing and sanitizing
• Assist with departmental projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum High School diploma or GED, Bachelor’s degree in science or manufacturing field preferred
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience with mixing experience in the food or beverage industry preferred
• Able to read, write, and speak English
• Strong math and reasoning skills with basic computer skills
• Able to stand and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time
• Able to lift up to 65 lbs
• Able to operate a forklift safely
