Job Description:

Accenture Federal Service is looking for a System Administrator to serve as the System Administrator for mission critical information systems in DoD environment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform System Administration tasks including systems design and maintenance of custom application support, Windows Active Directory, VMware ESXi, vSphere, Windows 10 virtual workstations, Windows Server 2012R2, ACAS, McAfee ePO, HBSS, Cisco ASAs, Brocade Switches, Network Encryptors, etc.
  • Ensure system preservation such as maintenance of network appliances, scheduled patching, system hardening, & backups
  • Work with Information Assurance Personnel to remediate and mitigate vulnerabilities at the system level
  • Ensure high availability of the operational environment and provide on-call support in the event of outage

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working with Windows Desktop/Server administration, Active Directory, OSI Layers 1-3 network appliances.
  • 3+ years of experience with VMware administration, Nessus, ACAS, McAfee ePO
  • Must have at least one of the following IAT Level II Certs: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience working as an administrator/engineer in a DoD environment.
  • Experience with Switches, Routers, & Firewalls
  • Basic scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
  • Experience with SQL Server, ACAS, Nessus, and HBSS
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2010 or later
  • Basic Linux command line experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage with users in a professional manner and simplify technical concepts.
  • Desire to learn new technologies and tools with a willingness to share your experience with the team

Security Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to undergo Poly.
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role
California: $122,600 - $198,800
Colorado: $122,600 - $171,700
New York City: $141,800 - $198,800
Washington: $160,500 - $182,800
