We are looking for an experienced and motivated Systems Administrator that is local to the Palm Desert area who will be responsible for providing professional and efficient desktop, server, and VOIP support.

The System Administrator will communicate IT issues, troubleshoot, and resolve IT incidents, manage and maintain current IT infrastructure. In this role you will need to interact with users of all skill levels and have a strong focus on customer service.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of three years' experience working with multi-tiered ticketing handling and resolving systems
  • Maintains detailed and complete desktop and server policies and procedures
  • Participation with maintaining inventory of hardware, software, and supply assets
  • Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation, and support, wireless technology application, and IT security
  • Understanding Local and Wide Area Networks, Microsoft server operating systems; Windows 10 operation system, desktop computer, tape backup systems and network devices (hubs/switches, cabling), and phone system architecture
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office application (Access, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook), and PowerShell Scripts
  • Working knowledge of the MS fax software, Obihai & Grandstream FXS GW, Yealink phones and Polycom phone system
  • Self-motivated, with the capability to work independently and take ownership of job responsibilities
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Experience working in healthcare environment a plus
  • College degree or equivalent work experience in related field

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting daily help desk tickets including the network, server hardware, software, phone system, and network printers' operation
  • Responsible for submitting the daily encounter data exchange with the Health Plans, vendors, and the company
  • Knowledge of the phone operation
  • Strong understanding of user authentication, permission, and encryption
  • Coordinating or updating technology installations, monthly Microsoft patches and network updates and maintenance
  • Responsible for implementing and updating the IT support policies and procedures
  • Responsible for managing IT supply to support the production
  • Responsible for delivering daily tape back-up to the offsite back-up storage
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by management

Compensation range: $55-65k per year, DOE
