Apply expertise in analytical, advisory, and technical analysis work to Air Force client activities. Maintain responsibility for ensuring the continuity of classified systems. Support the operations and maintenance of a sophisticated multi-domain command and control system and the design and deployment of new capabilities. Monitor, patch, and update workstations, servers, and virtual machines, design and deploy system upgrades and enhancements, create, and maintain system documentation, diagnose and solve system problems, and support users.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support day to day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for any issues that arise with administered systems.
- Manage IT system infrastructure and maintenance (Patching/upgrades).
- Provide second level problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
- Maintain storage allocation, backup, recovery and replication procedures.
- Provisioning of user-ids for all workstations and servers.
- Assist in creating supporting documentation and written procedures
Required Experience
- Experience with VMWare Virtual Desktop environments
- Experience in network administration
- Knowledge of computing infrastructures, hardware and software troubleshooting, and Windows and UNIX operating systems
- TS/SCI clearance
- DoD 8570 Compliance Certification, including Security+ CE, SSCP, or GSEC Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Possession of excellent troubleshooting skills
- Bachelor's degree in CS or IT
