System Administrator

Position Summary:

RGBSI Aerospace & Defense a System Administrator who will serve as a network admin subject matter expert for RGBSI A&D across various programs requiring Manufacturing Process & Planning development and implementation knowledge. Their knowledge and expertise will be widely applied across RGBSI A&D's broad client base from various industry domains such as Aerospace, Automotive, other Defense sectors. They will provide thought leadership around new technologies and methodologies while working with RGBSI A&D clients in defining future state for their Engineering and Manufacturing strategies. RGBSI Aerospace & Defense System Administrator whose primary duties are leading efforts for CMMC level 2 (NIST 800-171) compliance, managing and securing the company’s IT infrastructure (Wi-Fi, laptops, printers, scanners, user accounts, file storage system, etc.), responding to help desk requests, supporting company projects hosted in AWS and/or Azure, and acting as an IT liaison for our parent company in Troy, MI.

A key member of the RGBSI Aerospace & Defense Customer Engagement team, the System Administrator SME is responsible for executing against key milestone and deliverable timelines. This role requires client facing interaction with project teams in meeting aggressive timelines and delivering effective client solutions.

Responsibilities:

· Lead CMMC level 2 compliance efforts (implement & maintain security solutions that fulfill NIST 800-171 controls/objectives and document fulfillment of such controls in SSP).

· Maintain the system security plan (SSP).

· Maintain & enforce IT security policies.

· Ensure the proper handling and protection of sensitive data types such as personally identifiable information (PII) and controlled unclassified information (CUI).

· Manage & protect access to company file storage system (SharePoint Online).

· Manage and secure company computers using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).

· Scan & patch system vulnerabilities.

· Ensure software found on company computers are always up to date.

· Monitor, investigate, and resolve system security alerts.

· Approve or reject the requested release of quarantined emails based off the careful analysis of the email.

· Manage, maintain, and configure email security policies as needed (Defender for O365)

· Perform IT onboarding/offboarding duties.

· Manage user accounts using Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Online.

· Manage, troubleshoot, and configure security service edge platform (Zscaler).

· Manage, troubleshoot, and configure network devices including firewalls, switches, routers, printers, scanners, and wireless access points.

· Provide technical support for all employees.

· Create virtual environments in AWS and/or Azure as needed in support of company projects.

· Conduct phishing campaigns to test employee awareness of common cyber-attacks.

· Keep track of company paid software (renewals, license count, software recommendations, etc.).

· Keep track of company IT assets (computers, network devices, docking stations, etc.).

· Perform quarterly risk assessments and work to minimize risks to an acceptable level.

· Keep up to date with industry advancements in security.

Requirements:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related IT specialization.

· Requires at least 2-3 years of similar or related experience. Experience and professional certification may be substituted for degree requirement.

· Requires CompTIA Security+ certification.

• Requires an advanced proficiency in the operation/security of local and wide-area networks and components.
• Must be proficient with Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Endpoint manager (Intune), Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint/O365, Zscaler, Firewall Configuration, Incident Handling, Vulnerability Management, Email Header Analysis, and CMMC level 2 (NIST 800-171) Compliance.
• Highly desired AWS certification, Azure certification, and CompTIA Cloud+ certification.
• Ability to perform duties accurately and independently.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with members and associates in person or over the phone, in a courteous, pleasant, professional, and efficient manner.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and project requirements effectively with a strong worth ethic and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
