Retail Assistant Manager

  • You’ll assist the Store Manager in everything from hiring and training to performance evaluation, coaching, and development
  • When the Store Manager is away, you step into the lead role
  • Your team looks to you to be a resource as they deliver outstanding customer service• You’ll also serve as an expert consultant when customer escalations arise
  • We’ll also depend on you to help with staff scheduling, budgetary issues, and ensuring that store openings and closings go by the book
  • Finally, you’ll help in making sure the store always looks its best

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

That kind of responsibility takes just the right kind of person. Someone ready to go the extra mile and lead by example. Here’s a little more on what we’re looking for:

  • At least three years of prior retail sales experience make all the difference in this role
  • A background in wireless communications is strongly encouraged
  • We’re also looking for someone who’s had demonstrated leadership experience, from store processes to inventory and merchandising to hiring and staff scheduling
  • Great communication comes naturally to you, whether it’s with customers, store employees, or upper management
  • A high school degree or GED is essential, and while it’s not required, a college degree is a big plus
  • You can also create and present meeting agendas, conduct one on ones, and coach your team like its second nature• You’re also comfortably using basic computer programs
  • Our team will have your back at every turn, and it’s important that you share that same level of commitment to them--that means having the availability to work typical retail hours, including weekends and holidays as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Commission

Pay: $25,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Weekly day range:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Supervising Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
