The Position: Talent Acquisition Intern
Great Dane is looking for a talented, creative, high initiative student to join our Talent Acquisition (TA) team. As a talent acquisition intern, you will assist in various aspects of recruitment across the organization, including strategy development, sourcing, candidate engagement, employment branding and data analysis. You should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of talent acquisition. Ideal candidates will be energetic, creative, hardworking, and have a collaborative spirit. During this internship, you will gain cross-functional knowledge and exposure to our corporate, manufacturing and aftermarket business. Your internship will culminate in a final presentation to senior leadership members highlighting your contributions and thoughts on your experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support existing programs and help launch new project initiatives
- Support the TA Team with hiring initiatives
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing regular updates to hiring managers and candidates
- Ensure data accuracy within Applicant Tracking System
- Learn and enact best practices for specific TA functions
- Gather and analyze data to drive project outcomes
- Understand new industry and TA marketplace trends
- Communicate project status and results to key stakeholders
- Coordinate program/project efforts across the broader TA organization
Qualifications
Requirements:

Education: Are a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources or related field

Skills:

Possess strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Creative, curious and willing to think outside of the box

Excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as interpersonal and customer service skills

Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to learn quickly and apply learning to problems or activities

Collaborative team player who is also an independent thinker.

• Recruitment experience preferred.
- A favorable background screening, Drug Screening, and proof of work authorization in the United States is required for employment.
