Mellick Group LLC is comprised of two operating companies. Universal Roof & Contracting provides residential and commercial roof replacement in the Central Florida and Jacksonville areas. Renewal by Andersen of Florida provides window and door replacement with three locations in the state and is a part of the nationwide Renewal by Andersen network. As Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will have the support of the entire HR team when it comes to finding the best talent for our company.

Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is an essential part of the candidate’s hiring journey and is involved in every stage of the hiring process to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently. They support the HR Team, Hiring Managers, and Candidates by facilitating an applicant’s movements throughout the company recruitment and selection process.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Create and post job ads and monitor responses.
  • Source for passive candidates through job boards.
  • Understand and use the Applicant Tracking System in Paylocity and help applicants and hiring managers navigate the system.
  • Reviews resumes and screens for Hiring Managers’ needs and wants; moves candidates who meet the criteria to the next steps in the recruiting process.
  • Phone screens candidates using a structured format to identify competency and fit.
  • Schedules interviews on Hiring Manager’s calendars.
  • Follow up with hiring managers on the status of candidates.
  • Utilize automated email responses to thank candidates for applying and notify unselected candidates.
  • Attends job fairs and other hiring events to promote the company and identify qualified candidates.
  • Keeps Microsoft Teams and other tracking systems up to date with all status changes and notes on each candidate screened.
  • Help managers prepare for their new hires – Roll out the red carpet.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Work with Marketing on ways to promote positions on social media, company events, and job fairs.

What You'll Need:

  • Associate’s degree and 1 year of relevant experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Have cultural awareness and an understanding of ethical practice
  • Ability to speak effectively with candidates both in person and over the phone
  • Must have excellent spelling and grammar
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized
  • Must be proficient with MS Office suite and Indeed
  • Familiarity with Paylocity and Microsoft Teams a plus
  • Must be able to type at least 45 WPM

Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
