This position requires a charismatic, inspirational team player who is business savvy, able to travel nationwide, a fearless self-learner, not afraid of technology, and a top-notch public speaker and facilitator.

Candidates will live in Nebraska/Iowa (Omaha Metro Area). The position can be hybrid/remote. We provide a flexible work schedule while supporting the needs of our 29+ communities, which are in Nebraska, Iowa, North Dakota, California, Maryland, and Washington. As an Agemark Senior Living Memory Care Educator, design and deliver learning solutions for both internal/external customers and employees with a focus on dementia professional development and learning development. Assist the corporate team in its organization’s initiatives geared toward employee growth, management, and retention.

TALENT DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT PURPOSE

  • Create a design model and learning training around professional development with a focus on dementia and leadership development in the senior living industry space.
  • Facilitate and deliver education as the instructor both in person and virtually.
  • Support our communities within the Agemark portfolio by carving a path with Virtual Dementia Tours, training other facilitators, tracking the efficacy of the program, and upholding the license agreement.
  • Promote and advance Agemark as a premier learning resource for the senior living industry on a national scale.
  • Partner with the VP of Talent and Organizational Development to construct a marketing strategy for external training programs, negotiating various terms and rates for external customers.
  • Establish and expand a robust new leader onboarding, mentor, and community of practice program.
  • Devise, update, and/or acquire Facilitator guides, PowerPoint slides, and other course materials through various design software of your choosing.
  • Champion with the VP in leading various learning events, conferences, and meetings for the organization.
  • Built, reinforce and outline an annual training calendar with various alternatives by collaborating with division leadership to determine needs.
  • Assist with Annual Employee Appreciation Celebration.
  • Work jointly with employees in creating Individual Development Plans.
  • Salary range is $70k-$85k with bonus potential down the road.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Senior Living or Healthcare
  • 3+ years designing professional development programs
  • 2+ years managing teams and individuals
  • Certified in Talent Development and/or Dementia preferred
