Our Tax practice seeks an experienced Tax Administrative Support professional with a history of working successfully with other Tax professionals, to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the processing and delivery of client tax returns across multiple disciplines and industries, while assisting and supporting our Tax Partners, Managers, and other Tax staff on various tax-related administrative matters.
The preferred location for this position is in our Boston, MA. office. We offer remote and hybrid working.
What You Will Do:
- Work directly with the Partners, Directors, and Senior Managers, which includes supporting the Office Managing Partner (OMP)
- Proactively develop relationships with key internal/external client contacts, gaining recognition as a valued member of the team
- Effectively use Mazars’ technology applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and Outlook
- Process tax returns (Process to be defined later)
- Process and e-file applicable tax and informational returns
- Track workflows and deliver monthly due date deliverables
- Ensure Quality Control is kept consistent with policies and procedures
- Monitor and Obtain e-file authorization process
- Tracking e-file acceptances and correction of rejections
What We Seek:
- Prior working knowledge of CCH Axcess, CCH Engagement, CCH XCM and other essential tax-related technology and tools
- Prior work experience demonstrating excellent client support skills in a CPA firm, a professional services firm, or a tax consulting practice
- Ability to multi-task and handle a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities, organize workflow, and work with colleagues to accomplish tasks and balance workloads.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written); able to interact with personnel at all levels.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the accounting field.
- Ability to work extra hours when needed, particularly during tax busy season
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
