As part of the ASSA ABLOY Americas tax department, you will work with a team that has a passion for tax and learning. The income tax reporting for the consolidated group exceeds $5B in revenue, with an excess of $500M of cross border transactions annually.

To be successful in this role, you need to bring your desire to learn and willingness to grow your experience. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to further develop your expertise and progress along our tax ladder.

What you will do as Tax Analyst II

• Preparation of the U.S. Federal Consolidated Form 1120 and corresponding state income tax returns
• Preparation of the monthly and annual income tax provision in accordance with IFRS
• Preparation and reconciliation of the taxes payable and deferred tax balances
• Conduct US Federal and State tax research as needed
• Assist with federal and state tax audits.
• Provide support on corporate tax projects
• Prepare quarterly estimated federal, state income and franchise tax payments.
• Respond to and interact with tax authorities to resolve notices

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• A minimum of 3 years of corporate income tax experience
• Strong computer skills and functionality with Excel
• A willingness and aptitude to learn and grow
• OneSource and Dataflow experience is a plus, but certainly not a must
• The ability to work independently and under deadline pressures.
