Salary Based on Qualification:
Weeks per Year: 52
Hours Per Week: 40
Teacher Infant and Toddler
Pay Rate: $23.40 to $25.20/hr depending on education.

We are looking to employ a qualified Infant/Toddler Teacher, who has a passion for instilling values in young children in our Early Head Start program. The Infant/Toddler Teacher should possess high energy and the ability to handle the demands of babies and toddlers with different personalities and needs. The minimum requirements are listed below pending the age of children in the classroom:
In our 24 months and up classrooms: 1. Bachelors in ECE or related field^ and NY State Certification – or2. Bachelors in ECE or related field^ and two years of supervised and documented experience in a pre-school program – or – 3. A study plan^ approved by an accredited college to achieve Bachelors in ECE within seven years – AND - one of the following a. Associates Degree in ECE – or - b. 90 undergraduate credits plus one year of classroom experience with - children aged preschool through second grade – or - c. Baccalaureate Degree in any other academic subject and one year classroom experience teaching children up to third grade. ^ = must be approved by NYC Health Department
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
