Team Lead Job Description:
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a position overseeing a team
- Experience in the nursing home setting, nursing home administration, or any clinical field preferred
- Knowledge in the following: Medical Claims, HMO/Insurance plans, Medicare and Medicaid, Medical Records & Medical Billing required
- Understanding of the health insurance system, policy and protocols including prior-authorizations & appeals
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Computer savvy
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 8+ relevant experience
- Exceptionally Organized
- Good Time Management
- HR knowledge preferred
- Ability to work Full Time
Job Description:
- Manage and lead a team
- Ensure clinical documents & appeals are submitted in a timely manner
- Monitor individuals work performance
- Create summaries and reports on team performance
- Communicate company goals, policy, procedure, & deadlines to team members
- Ensure proper coverage
- Screen & interview candidates’ for final interview
- Develop training and assessments
- Monitor and evaluate new hires throughout the on-boarding process
- Develop strategies to promote strong work ethic
Salary: Biased on experience + comprehensive benefit package
Shift: Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
