As a team lead, you’re the key to unlocking the value of total per care experience. As you help clients understand the benefits of regular pet care, convert guests into members and maximize the positive impact of in-location services through retail sales, you’re a critical part of helping pets feel their best. As a team lead your responsibilities revolve around providing excellent services to members and guests (both fur babies and human!).
Responsibilities:
- Uphold the petbar brand core values of optimism, gratitude, excellence, consistency and empathy
- Answer phone calls and texts
- Set appointments
- Greet and check in/out members and guests for appointments
- Promote the Monthly Bath & Brush Program
- Take payments for services
- Re-engage inactive members
- Stay updated on retail products and promotions
- Recognize and support team goals
- Create and maintain positive relationships with team members
- Interact and lead bathers on daily tasks
- Assist self-wash guests with bathing
- Sanitize and prep tubs in the self-wash area for the next guest
- Keep the front desk, lobby, hold rooms and self-service wash area clean
- Keep management apprised of member concerns
Requirements:
- Must LOVE dogs and be comfortable and confident in handling dogs of all sizes
- Must work well individually and in a team environment
- Ability to perform in a high-energy, fast paced environment
- Ability to multi task and manage time without supervision
- Superior customer service skills (prompt, courteous and professional)
- Professional and neat appearance in compliance with dress code
- Comfortable working in a loud environment
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for 6-8 hour shifts as well as lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable using and learning computer/ipad software
- Available to work at least two Saturdays a month. Our hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
