The Team Travel Coordination Manager is responsible for the daily management of the Team Travel Coordinators, acting as a resource for the department with the goal of effectively placing teams. This position focuses on quality of events, driving the team pipeline, creating and executing process and procedures, auditing event quality, coaching and development, and maintaining excellent production and workflow in the department.


This is a fast paced environment where productivity and exceptional service are highly valued. This position requires extraordinary customer service, leadership acumen, and a teamwork mentality. The Team Travel Coordination Manager will actively assist Group Leaders on a daily basis, providing unparalleled service, problem solving and leading by example. This position requires an open and flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Team Travel Coordination Manager Responsibilities:

  • Daily review of opportunities
  • Lead daily “stand up” meetings with TTCs
  • Conduct one on one coaching sessions with TTCs
  • Liaise with Account Managers and other members of leadership to assure successful events
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting
  • Assure effective workflow and workload, direct Team Travel Coordinator activities daily
  • Maintain company communication standards for TTC department
  • Audit tasks for accuracy and completion
  • Assure coverage of absent TTCs personally or through delegation
  • Actively assist group leaders contributing to the success of the overall department
  • Manage issues, complaints, team moves, difficult situations etc.
  • Drive team pipeline
  • Audit event reports and provide guidance on team placement and inventory management
  • New hire and ongoing training and development
  • Any other tasks as assigned by leadership


Team Travel Coordination Manager Qualifications:


  • Hotel management experience required


Education:


We like education but value experience even more! Bachelors degree in related field required.
