Position Summary
The Tech Nest Store Cashier provides outstanding customer service to the academic community and visitors. This position supports the Store Manager in all day-to-day activities to maintain a store with desired Oregon Tech products and general merchandise, including the coordination of staff scheduling, special events, purchasing, and floor displays.

Department Summary
The Tech Nest Store is located at the Oregon Tech Klamath Falls campus and provides general merchandise for students, staff and visitors, including Oregon Tech apparel. The store also manages an online purchasing system.

Minimum Requirements
Two years of cashiering experience exchanging money for purchases and making change.
The training or experience must have included operating a calculator or ten-key adding machine by touch, and using a computer and keyboard.
NOTE: Some positions may require the capacity to be bonded.

Qualification Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• Outstanding customer service skills to match customers to products that meet their needs.
• Basic reading, writing, and accounting skills required.
• Ability to effectively and respectfully work, communicate, and collaborate in diverse, multicultural, and inclusive settings
• Ability to work effectively in high-traffic and frequent interruption environment; including the ability to adapt to changing priorities in an effective and efficient manner
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,702.00 - $2,897.00 per month
