Job Description


Due to continued success and growth, we are expanding our delivery team and are now looking for a Technical Business Analyst to support in the development and delivery of products and tools to support colleagues and clients. This role will influence all areas of the product and project lifecycles to identify, design, develop, launch, deliver and improve products. There is an emphasis on having the key data skills needed to deliver a range of high-value analytics projects

The successful candidate will be responsible to support and lead agile cross functional teams, at all phases in the product design lifecycle, to deliver projects within in our overall roadmap for our Analytics Platform.

  • BA background in Information Management or Governance Projects (for unstructured data).
  • Experience in working Information Architecture requirements with end users
  • Experience in Document Retention Principles & Practices (preferably including GDPR but not essential)
  • Data Migration Analysis & Experience would also be a Bonus
  • Strong understanding of Domain/Fileshare/Access Permissions
  • Experience in Change Management processes
  • Analyse and understand business workflow and provide solutions for product enhancements and new initiatives.
  • Gather, manage, define and validate business requirements from multiple stakeholders for development and implementation of products, tools and analytics.
  • Work closely with software developers, data engineers and other colleagues to ensure that they clearly understand the requirements and the features to be delivered.
  • Co-ordinate all activities related to the deployment of new products and tools to key business stakeholders including user transition, user acceptance testing, training, communications, and business process design.
  • Capture and track feedback from the end users for future application and analytics design and provide recommendations in developing business solutions for business stakeholders.
  • Support and co-ordinate testing activities across all phases of projects including unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing and downstream testing.

  • Experienced in analyzing and documenting end to end business process flows
  • Experience in working with large data sets with SQL/data query skills to be able to drill down to data issues
  • Knowledge of enterprise BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Trifacta
  • Capable of coordinating and managing application testing thoroughly including reporting and managing issues through to resolution
  • Ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders
  • Experience in people management


Qualifications
  • 5 years Business Analyst experience
  • Strong SQL experience required
  • Experience of Service Design or other similar methodologies for product delivery
  • Experience of working in data focused organizations
  • Experience of working in a large multinational and operating across geographies is a distinct advantage
  • Experience of working across Agile scrum or Kanban projects
  • Degree in IT, Business, or Science

Additional experience preferable but not essential :

  • Working knowledge of SharePoint (On Prem and/or Online):
    • Sites, Site Collections, Webs, Document Libraries, Lists
    • SharePoint Groups, SharePoint Permissions, AD Groups, Users
    • Content Types & Metadata
