Position Summary:
We are looking for a technical-oriented, dynamic, outgoing, customer-friendly individual. As a Technical Customer Service Rep, your primary role would include reviewing customer specifications and working with team members from Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to address customer concerns and technical inquiries regarding our services. Maintain excellent client relations and service while providing exemplary communication, technical efficiency, and problem-solving skills. Other duties include, but are not limited to preparing quotes, reviewing and accepting purchase orders and non-disclosure agreements. The individual in this position will report to the Customer Service Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers via email, phone and on-site meetings to address their technical issues
- Focus on resolving customer's technical issues and questions regarding our products
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to address customer concerns
- Maintain composure and a positive attitude during difficult situations
- Enter data and use databases, customer portals, email, MS Windows, and office equipment
- Produce timely quotations per customer's request
- Verify and enter incoming purchase orders with previous quote history including price, lead time, and purchase order verifications
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Previous experience in a Sales Representative role is a plus
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service
AS9100 and ISO 9000 quality management systems knowledge a plus
Experience/knowledge of electronic components (semiconductor packages) and acronyms plus
Technical knowledge and aptitude
Strong customer relations skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
This position requires handling of sensitive information and may require obtaining a security clearance. Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
