CipherTrace is a rapidly growing leader in cryptocurrency intelligence and compliance. Our team has introduced novel solutions to challenges including sanctions compliance for DeFi and the Crypto Travel Rule. Overview
The CipherTrace team is looking for a Technical Product Manager passionate about growing the crypto space by securing the crypto economy. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing and improving new and existing products for our Armada product, designed to allow banks to better understand their exposure and risks due to crypto-related activities
  • Decomposes business requirements and customer experiences into features and functions that drive the product roadmap
  • Works with Product Management, Development, UX design, and QA to define the details behind the business requirements and identify feature-level development opportunities
  • Defines the acceptance criteria for user stories
  • Collects and shares user stories with engineering teams
  • Prioritizes the backlog, recommending trade-off decisions on product features/depth of features/backlog items
  • Owns and drives the delivery of the product: grooming, sprint planning, stand-ups, release planning, and retrospectives
Coordinates daily with Product Management, Development, UX design, and QA to identify issues that will keep features, bug fixes, and technical debt from delivering on time with the desired requirements

Experience and Skills
  • 4+ years experience in technical product, project management, or a related role
  • Hands-on individual contributor having advanced skills with Jira and Confluence, or related tools
  • Experience working directly with engineers to define, plan, and deliver both APIs and SaaS applications
  • Experience with, or at least a strong interest in, crypto
  • Experience in working on a product designed for financial institution compliance and risk is a strong plus
  • Fast learner on both the technical and business side
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Proactive and operates with a sense of urgency and 'can do' attitude
  • Strategic problem solver who can balance big picture strategy with detailed execution
  • Ability to stay organized while handling competing priorities
  • Strong analytical skills
