We are looking for people interested in building the core data Analytical models that power the Growth, GTM, Product, and Sales teams at NewRelic! We a seeking a Technical Data Product Manager who is passionate about data at scale and concrete insights to build a Data-Driven Operating Model at NewRelic.
We are a fast-growing Data Engineering & Technology team building an “internal-facing data product” with a bold, ambitious vision to build and operate a successful consumption business. We build core data products, promote data-driven culture, democratize insights through self-service, and establish a single source of truth in business and customer metrics.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional data team and stakeholders to define the project scope and deliverables, and set project milestones.
- Build data program roadmap, project reports in the JIRA including burn chart, resource allocation by tracks
- Lead all aspects of project execution, including project status, risk management, issue resolution, and change control.
- Run multiple scrum teams and lead sprint planning sessions.
- Work closely with the data product managers to maintain and prioritize the user stories including the product backlog refinement
- Schedules and facilitates scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review, and retrospectives.
- Act as Chief of Staff to the VP of Data Engineering
- Work with the team to build and maintain a 90-day backlog
- Experience in both Agile and traditional project management principles with the ability to blend them together
- Proven understanding and experience of software development life cycle models
- Deep Experience with SCRUM, AGILE, Kanban, and Sprint Planning methodologies
- Experience with task management tools such as JIRA
- Familiarity with Data engineering tools and languages such as SQL, Python, Datalake, data warehouse, ETL, data pipelines, Looker/Tableau, etc.
- PMP certification, Scrum, Agile, or other certification
